From the very beginning, life handed me challenges most people could never imagine. But I made a decision early on: my disability would not define my life. I am not my diagnosis. I am a dreamer, a fighter, and someone determined to live boldly on my own terms. Finding My Own Way Throughout my life, many people underestimated what I could do. They assumed that because I moved differently, I must be different — less capable, less independent, less whole. But I refused to accept those limits. I have always believed that I am capable of achieving anything I set my mind to. Every day, I choose not to be held back by other people’s expectations.
